Ed was born in Lambertville, New Jersey in 1933, the youngest of 14 children. Having grown up in the Episcopal Church in Trenton, N.J. Ed started singing pretty early on, first as a soprano at Trinity Cathedral and then at Trenton Central High School performing in the musical programs there. He regularly enjoys leading the congregation of Hope in the singing of many great hymns.

Ed and his wife, Betty, have been married since 1954 and together raised three children and have been blessed with five grandchildren.

While serving a four year Millwright apprenticeship at GM, he began performing on stage as an actor/singer and remained active in community theater groups for about 40 years. He has recorded several musical comedy albums and did some voice-over work with the Library of Congress.

Now retired, Ed serves as a Deacon at Hope Presbyterian Church.
